The MacKenzie Art Gallery has announced that executive director and CEO John G. Hampton is stepping down to become director and CEO of the Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq (WAG-Qaugmajuq).
Hampton came to Regina in 2018 as the MacKenzie’s director of programs before moving into the CEO role in 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I am so proud to have been a part of the MacKenzie Art Gallery’s legacy,” said Hampton in a news release.
