TALLADEGA, Ala. — Chevrolet turned Talladega Superspeedway into a showcase Sunday, delivering its most dominant NASCAR Cup Series performance of the 2026 season.
The manufacturer swept the top six finishing positions and placed eight drivers inside the top 10 in the YellaWood 500. Kyle Larson led the charge with the victory, followed by Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron in second and Hyak Motorsports driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in third.
Trackhouse Racing’s Ross Chastain finished fourth, Haas Factory Team’s Cole Custer was fifth and Spire Motorsports driver Carson Hocevar came home sixth. Alex Bowman and Michael McDowell completed Chevrolet’s eight-car top-10 effort.
The manufacturer strength was evident throughout the race as Chevrolet drivers consistently worked together in the draft and positioned Larson near the front when stage points and race-winning opportunities were available.
“We had so much help from our Chevy teammates throughout the whole field, all day long,” Larson said. “It really allowed us to feel like we were on offense.”
