After announcing the improved Sleep Apnea feature for the Galaxy Ring and select Galaxy Watches earlier today, Samsung released a new software update for the compact wearable. So, what does it bring to the device?
The new firmware update rolling out to the Galaxy Ring in South Korea brings improved software stability and reliability. However, Samsung hasn’t detailed exactly which parts of the wearable’s software have been optimized. Maybe this update prepares the device for the upcoming improved Sleep Apnea Detection feature.
The update arrives with firmware version Q50XWWU2AZIA and a minimal download size of just 0.68MB. You can download it from the Galaxy Wearable app’s settings menu for the Galaxy Ring.
The Galaxy Ring launched in mid-2024, and reports indicate that Samsung is already working on the Galaxy Ring 2. The successor will reportedly feature improved health and fitness tracking accuracy, greater comfort, and longer battery life.
