SENS NEED BACKUP TO BE BETTER

Article content

A major problem the Ottawa Senators had all last season was that when goalie Linus Ullmark was not available, which was often, the team lacked a good enough backup.

Over the offseason, the Sens acquired Samuel Ersson and signed him to a two-year, $4.4-million contract. So far, Ersson is not proving to be the adequate backup the Sens thought they were getting.

With Ullmark so often missing from the lineup, let’s hope Ersson can perform much better going forward.

In a recent loss to San Jose, the Sharks’ goalie stopped 41 of 43 shots, meaning he was almost twice as busy as Ersson!

BE READY, MR. HELLEBUYCK

Mr. Connor Hellebuyck, did you enjoy the Panthers-Senators game on Oct. 21? That was a church service compared to the Devils-Jets game in Winnipeg on Nov. 10. Better have on your fireproof underwear.

DIDN’T KNOW EU PART OF THE DEAL

No way did we know that joining the European Union was in any way, shape or form part of the deal when Mark Carney was installed as Liberal leader and subsequently proceeded with his gaslighting elbows-up fear campaign.

Article content

Carney should go back to his beloved Europe. This is Canada. I absolutely, vehemently oppose the deteriorating, tyrannical EU regime from having any influence whatsoever, not even one iota, in our Canadian business.

Wake up, people. Do your homework, speak up and get your heads out of the sand.
