The outspoken WNBA star, who has become a social sensation over the past couple of years, claims that the FBI is monitoring 20 people that she has labelled “stalkers.”
Cunningham, who spent the past two seasons playing alongside Caitlin Clark with the Indiana Fever, made the shocking revelation during a podcast appearance earlier this week.
“There’s also a lot of crazy people, too. We do have a lot of stalkers. I know I do,” she said on the This Past Weekend podcast.
“We’ll have to check if I’m even allowed to say this. I like have, I think, 20 … people kind of that the FBI are watching for me. Me alone”
She also revealed the name of one of the alleged stalkers and said he’s “locked away now.
“I know one of them, he’s locked away now,” she said “Yeah, his name’s Kevin. And the worst part about that is, like, I have a miniature donkey named Kevin. And now I’m like, ‘Well, s—, do I need to rename Kevin?’”

She also acknowledged that having her public profile increase as it has recently can lead to uncomfortable situations.
“The more you’re visible on TV, you’re going to get more fans,” Cunningham told host Theo Von. “People are going to know who you are and that’s a really great thing. But there’s also a lot of crazy people, too.
“That’s the negative side of things that people don’t think about. And so you do want to feel secure.”

She didn’t offer any further details, including if she had received any threats from the alleged stalkers or how long the people have been monitored.
But Cunningham, who is a free agent this off-season, also shared that the Fever’s security arrangements have helped keep her and her teammates protected.
“I know, like, we keep saying that, but like it’s a huge, it’s a big deal,” she said.

While Cunningham will never be confused for her superstar teammates like Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston — Cunningham actually comes off the bench for the Fever, starting in just three games this past WNBA season — she has grown a huge fan base on social media.
The 30-year-old guard has posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue in the past, but made headlines earlier this year with her comments on transgender athletes in women’s sports.
Her interview with ESPN went viral and prompted a wave of debate and protests at Fever games.
Cunningham also recently attended the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, where she waved the checkered flag as Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli crossed the finish line for the win.
