November is shaping up to be a fantastic month for mixed martial arts, with major fights across the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Professional Fighters League. We’ve got title clashes, elite heavyweights, former champions and intriguing stylistic matchups. On this episode of The Sheehan Show, I’m counting down my top five fights to watch this month.

Ciryl Gane defends his heavyweight title against rising contender Josh Hokit on Nov. 14 at UFC 334. Gane’s movement and technical striking make him a difficult opponent, but Hokit could create problems if he closes the distance and imposes his offense.

Also on Nov. 14, Vadim Nemkov faces Sergey Bilostenniy for heavyweight gold at PFL Dubai. Nemkov has established himself as one of the best fighters outside the UFC, and this is another opportunity to demonstrate his quality against a dangerous challenger.

On Nov. 21, Aljamain Sterling faces Kevin Vallejos at UFC Qatar in a fascinating test for the former bantamweight champion as he continues his featherweight campaign. That card also features Jiri Prochazka against Carlos Ulberg’s teammate Stirling in a light heavyweight showdown.

Topping the list is Amanda Nunes against Kayla Harrison on Nov. 14. Two of the most accomplished fighters in women’s MMA history finally meet, with Harrison’s bantamweight title and both fighters’ legacies at stake.

Those are my top five fights to watch in November. Let me know which one you’re most looking forward to and whether I’ve left anything out. Let’s get into it.

A heavyweight title fight headlines PFL Dubai: Tune in on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. ET on the ESPN app.
