VANCOUVER — The man accused of killing 11 people in a vehicle-ramming attack at the Lapu Lapu Day festival in Vancouver has pleaded not guilty to all 42 charges he faces.
Damienne Darby, communications council with the BC Prosecution Service, said Adam Kai-Ji Lo pleaded not guilty on Monday to 11 counts of second-degree murder and 31 counts of attempted murder in the attack in April 2025.
She said Lo entered the pleas in a court appearance by video conference.
Lo elected against facing a jury in favour of a judge-only trial set to start in B.C. Supreme Court on April 19, 2027, and due to run until the end of next August.
