An NHL jersey that taps into the very fabric of Montreal will hit the ice this season.

The NHL unveiled the Hometown Remix jerseys as a set of alternate sweaters for all 32 teams on Monday.

Each jersey is meant to celebrate the local culture of the franchise and will be worn several times throughout the season. A total of 261 games will feature Hometown Remix jerseys, with 19 head-to-head matchups.

“Together with Fanatics and our clubs, we’ve created designs that are rooted in local identity and tell a story about the cities and fans they represent. We’re incredibly excited to bring the program to life and see that passion reflected both on the ice and in the stands,” NHL executive Brian Jennings said in a statement.

The Canadiens will wear their hometown remix jerseys seven times this season, beginning Tuesday when they host the Winnipeg Jets at the Bell Centre.

The jersey features “white pine, fleur de lys, rose, thistle, and clover” on the sleeves and the Canadiens crest includes etched architectural detailing—a nod to the city’s iconic stonework and historic streets.

“The side panels feature a gradient inspired by Mount Royal. On the hem, four fleur de lys bookend the city name, grounding the jersey in Quebec pride. And completing the look is a new number system inspired by the iconography of Old Montreal,” the team wrote in a news release. “This jersey is a tribute to culture, community, and the city’s timeless spirit. An iconic and enduring interpretation for La Sainte‑Flanelle.”

The jerseys will also be worn Nov. 7 (Leafs), Nov. 12 (Bruins), Nov. 14 (Avalanche), Nov. 23 (Kings), Dec. 8 (Golden Knights), Dec. 27 (Stars), Jan. 6 (Bruins), Jan. 23 (Flames), and March 28 (Red Wings).
