The Christmas Store at Potters is back.
Western Canada’s largest Christmas store is back.
The Christmas store at Potters has opened again, for its 22nd year. The huge garden centre in Surrey transformed (just outside Langley) into a 28,000-square-foot holiday wonderland.
Given its size, the huge store is broken up into themed areas, including a spot for European Christmas trends, a Men-Zone, Petland and a display full of Coca-Cola merch (fitting given the pop company’s connection to Santa).
Mixed in with the decor, gift ideas, and tchotchkes are designer Christmas trees, an electric train display replete with a miniature village and Lucy’s Lemonade Stand (from Peanuts).
In all, there are an estimated 50,000 different ornaments, 50 styles of stockings and 40 types of hot chocolate.
“With its imaginative displays, extensive selection of seasonal decor and gifts, and distinctive shopping areas, The Christmas Store at Potters offers visitors plenty of reasons to make it part of their holiday traditions,” reads a press release.
The Christmas Store at Potters is located at 19158 – 48th Ave. in Surrey.
The store is open Wednesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday to Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Its last day is Dec. 24.
