Khamzat Chimaev could have major issues with a surprise MMA star, according to an icon.
On August 16, ‘Borz’ dominated Dricus Du Plessis to win the middleweight world title at UFC 319, inside the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Attention quickly switched to who the grappler might face next, with Islam Makhachev being asked about a showdown with Chimaev, while others would like to see the Swedish-Russian take on Nassourdine Imavov.
However, a former title challenger believes there’s another competitor out there who’d give the champion his toughest test.

Chael Sonnen believes Bo Nickal would give Khamzat Chimaev a run for his money.
Despite not being ranked in the top fifteen and having suffered a loss in his last outing, ‘The American Gangster’ still thinks his countryman has the ability to be a nightmare for the 185-pound King.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Sonnen said: “One thing that Khamzat Chimaev is not prepared for is a guy who can get up off the bottom, a Bo Nickal.
“I know that’s going to bother some of you guys, but I’m just sharing with you, if you can get Bo down, you’re not going to keep him there, and there’s not a situation where he’s going to go to his back.”

However, there are other fighters out there who’d love to get their hands on the pound-for-pound number four.
