Afghan mixed martial artist Baz Mohammad Mubariz secured his first professional Muay Thai victory on Monday, defeating his Bahraini-Iranian opponent, Mustafa, in Phuket, Thailand.
The bout, held on Aug. 25, went three rounds of three minutes each, with Mubariz emerging the winner after showcasing his striking skills in the ring.
It marked Mubariz’s official debut in Muay Thai. The Afghan MMA fighter, already well known for his achievements in other combat sports, said his move into Muay Thai is aimed at sharpening his technical and fighting skills.
