Millthorpe School student Isaac is pleased to have got good grades at GCSE ‘mainly grade 6 and 7’, saying: “I’m looking forward to studying A-levels in history, politics and sociology in the Sixth Form at All Saints.
“I’ve trained hard over the last few years to become Yorkshire champion.
“I want to continue to improve and work towards the next level with my ambition eventually to box as a professional.
“I took up the sport three years ago and have competed for the past two.
“The boxer I most admire and would love to emulate is Canelo for his overpowering and ruthless aggression and slick elusive head movement which make him an entertaining and enthralling athlete.”

“He’s resilient, confident, focused and dedicated.
“These are all-important life skills for Isaac to take into adulthood.
“His coaches and peers at Henry’s Gym are highly supportive and take fighter safety seriously.
“Coupled with world class training and hands on experience, this approach puts the next generation of boxing talent in a strong position.”
