The Clinton Public Hospital Foundation (CPHF) held its very first golf tournament on August 20th, 2025, and the event was a major success. The tournament took place at Woodlands Links Golf Course in Clinton, where community members enjoyed a sunny day of golf while supporting local healthcare.

The tournament raised $22,217.40. The funds will go toward the purchase of a new Ophthalmic Microscope for Clinton Public Hospital’s cataract program. Clinton is the only hospital in Huron Perth performing cataract surgeries, making this piece of equipment essential for continuing the program.

Organizers say this is just the beginning of what they hope will become an annual tradition. The goal is to bring the community together for fun while raising money to keep high-quality healthcare close to home.
