WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley men’s soccer head coach Gary Crompton has announced his team captains for the 2025 season. Graduate student Cam Hall and seniors Michael Haikal and Luke Mollenhauer will serve as captains as the season gets underway on September 4.
“Each of these men have played a big part in our team’s success over the last couple of seasons,” Crompton said. “Cam is one of the best keepers in our league and he earned the respect of his teammates the minute he stepped onto campus. He is great teammate and a top keeper.”
“Both Micheal and Luke have been the emotional leaders of our group,” he continued. “Both are passionate individuals who lead by example by sacrificing everything on the pitch and being model student athletes off the field. They bring it every training session and have set the standard for excellence in our program.”
Hall was voted second team All-Conference in 2024 with a 7-5-5 record with six shutouts in his first season with the program.
Haikal was named All-Conference as a midfielder for the second straight season. He was voted to the third team in 2024 after he started 16 matches and notched four points.
Mollenhauer is a standout on Bentley’s backline. He’s started every match the last two years and in 2024 ranked third on the team in minutes played (1481).
The Falcons begin the 2025 campaign with a pair of games in Lakewood, New Jersey. They face Caldwell in the season opener on Sept. 4 and Georgian Court on Sept. 6.
