There are even more developments regarding Dylan Walsh‘s car crash with his family inside the vehicle.

The 61-year-old Nip/Tuck alum suffered a stroke behind the wheel ahead of the crash in New Jersey, according to his rep.

Earlier on Wednesday (August 27), it was reported that the actor said he and his family were coming back from a tavern, and he admitted he had been drinking while speaking to police following the incident on August 17 in Rumson, New Jersey.

The police report also said there were empty and open White Claw Hard Seltzer cans in an open cooler bag, and the actor looked “very red and looked very confused.” He was cited for six violations while also agreeing to giving a blood sample.

Dylan‘s wife, their kids and another adult were all riding with him in the car.

Now, Dylan‘s rep has addressed the situation again, and claimed that while the actor did have some drinks beforehand, it was a “sudden stroke that caused him to lose control of the car and crash,” per TMZ.

The rep also claimed that his BAC (blood alcohol content) was below the legal limit, but that hasn’t been verified by the police. The rep also claimed that Dylan‘s wife and the other adult in the car were the ones drinking the White Claws, and that Dylan looked red because he spent the day at the beach, which aligns with the report from the authorities.

Everyone onboard is okay after the incident, which took out two utility poles and briefly cut out power for several residents. Here’s what we know from the police report.
