British wheelchair tennis star Alfie Hewett has taken on his own serve, thanks to Lexus’ Signature Shot machine, which allows tennis fans to experience the power and precision of professional players’ iconic shots.
The Lexus Signature Shot machine closely simulates the playing style and techniques of top tennis pros and Lexus ambassadors, including Hewett and Katie Boulter.
And the four-time US Open champion had the chance to attempt returning his own 93mph 2024 Wimbledon-winning serve in a new video.
“It was a surreal experience to come face-to-face with my shot. It’s one thing to hit it, but another entirely to be on the receiving end. The machine is an incredible accomplishment and will give tennis fans an amazing insight into the game, as well as the chance to take on their favourite players,” Hewett said.
Hewett and Boulter’s signature shots have all been programmed into the machine, and fans can attempt to face their ball when the machine tours tennis events and local clubs throughout the 2026 tennis season.
