Jake Paul’s MVP and KSI’s Misfits are of course nonsense, all of it. Freak shows and probably a lot of made-up fights that are more reminiscent of some kind of WWE variant. But it doesn’t matter to me, or maybe it even adds – because I’m in a phase where I just want to see pure nonsense. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, 4vs4-MMA from Russia, freak shows from Japan, Misfits and everything in between. That’s why Misfits 22 arrives tomorrow night just at the right time. I’m ready, excited – craving nonsense and I’ve been watching a lot of interviews, which are just as silly as the fight is guaranteed to be, haha.

Most curious, of course, I’m on Luke Rockhold vs Darren Till. Two really sharp, former UFC strikers who have passed their best before date for a long time and are now going to box. Rockhold is so wonderfully mega-arrogant while Till is super energetic and bright red in the face. I hope-hope-hope that Rockhold wins via knockout, because that would be hysterically fun – But I’m tipping Till, of course. His boxing will be two levels above Luke’s and he has ten times more durable chin.

I’m almost as excited about the weirdo #1 Tony Ferguson vs Salt Papi, which I think will offer lots of laughs. Youtuber against one of the UFC’s most merited fighters, who today can barely make himself understood, will be bizarre – and most likely bizarrely funny. Of course I hope that Tony wins via knock but I actually tip Papi via decision. Tony is exhausted, slow, tired, broken.

Dillon Danis versus Warren Spencer in Misfits MMA is going to be fun too. No one is more out of touch with reality than Dillon Danis and that’s why it’s always humorous when he’s going to go to a fight, and starts his hopelessly lousy. I hope Dillon wins early via submission (because I want him to start pulling people out and not just lose all the time) but I’m tipping the unknown Spencer via knock, already in the first – This is because Danis has what I think might be the world’s worst striking, All categories.
