Bermuda’s junior cyclists excelled at the opening of the 2025 Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships, securing multiple podium finishes in the Individual Time Trial [TT].
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda’s junior cyclists turned in stellar performances today at the opening event of the 2025 Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships, earning multiple podium finishes in the Individual Time Trial [TT].
“Charlotte Millington captured the gold medal in the Junior Female Time Trial, while teammate Skye Ferguson secured bronze in the same category, giving Bermuda a double podium. In the Juvenile Men’s event, Jacob Wright raced to a strong 3rd place finish, adding another medal to Bermuda’s tally.”
“These results highlight the incredible determination and talent of our junior riders,” said Team Manager and Coach Peter Dunne. “We’re proud to see them competing against the region’s best and showing that Bermuda belongs at the top level.”
The spokesperson said, “The championships, hosted this year in Barbados by the Caribbean Cycling Union, continue tomorrow with the Road Race, where Bermuda’s riders will once again represent the island with pride and determination.
