Notes:

The Flashes open the program’s 28th season at the Boilermaker Classic. The team won its 26th consecutive MAC Championship in April, before narrowly missing a spot in the NCAA Championships at the Columbus Regional in May.
At the 2024 edition of the Boilermaker Classic, the Flashes finished third among 15 teams competing at 31-over-par. Kedronova and Larsen each finished tied for ninth at 6-over-par, while Matthews followed closely at 7-over-par. Host Purdue was the winner of the 2024 Boilermaker Classic at 15-over-par.
Kedronova headlines the Kent State lineup after being named the 2025 MAC Golfer of the Year as a sophomore. Kedronova had two individual wins in the 2024-25 season, coming at the Red Raider Invitational and the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational. She also tallied 15 rounds of par or better, five rounds in the 60s, and a team-best 72.83 scoring average last season.
In addition to Kedronova, Kent State has two more 2025 First Team All-MAC selections in this week’s lineup in Goyette and Takagi. Goyette received the honor following a freshman season where she recorded five rounds of par-or-better, two rounds in the 60s, and a joint runner-up individual finish at the MAC Championship. Takagi is a former MAC Golfer of the Year and MAC individual medalist who tallied six rounds of par or better and two top ten finishes last season.
Matthews finished alongside Goyette and Larsen as a runner-up at the 2025 MAC Championship. She wrapped up her freshman season with a Second Team All-MAC selection after posting five rounds of par or better and five top 20 finishes last season.
Babicova makes the Flashes’ opening lineup of the Fall after appearing in just three team lineups last season, in addition to four individual appearances. As a freshman in 2024-25, Babicova had two top 20 finishes, including a team-best 13th-place finish at the Briar’s Creek Invitational.
Larsen will compete as an individual this week at the Boilermaker Classic. The reigning MAC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-MAC selection recorded the team’s second-best scoring average in 2024-25 at 74.97. She also tallied nine rounds of par or better en route to four top 20 finishes and a joint runner-up finish at the MAC Championship.
