As seen during the August 25th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, there was a promo segment between Intercontinental champion Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella. At one point, Becky took a shot at the city of Birmingham, England when she said “the only good thing that came outta here died a month ago.” Becky added, “But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to L.A. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”
During his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash was asked if Becky crossed a line to get heat. Here was Nash’s response…
“I think her run’s over. I think she’s grasping. [You think there’s a desperation?] I think the business has passed her by.”
“You know they always say, ‘Any kind of publicity is good publicity.’ I don’t know, man. If somebody passes and you f*ck with the family, and the daughter makes the comment, I don’t think that’s exactly the look WWE or its shareholders—which I’m one of, I’m a TKO shareholder—want coming out of somebody’s mouth as a shareholder.”
