Undefeated boxing champion is giving back to Toledo’s youth

  • September 3, 2025

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – He’s a winner inside and outside of the boxing ring. Albert “Prince” Bell, a Toledo native, notched his 29th win over the weekend, continuing his undefeated streak.

But Prince is doing more than just throwing punches; he’s also a mentor to those coming up behind him.

Boxing culture is ingrained in Toledo and so is lifting those up around you, especially the youth.

Prince has had boxing gloves covering his hands since he was three years old.

“I pretty much did everything in the sport I’ve won from the amateurs to where I’m at now professionally at 29-0,” he said.

Prince secured his perfect winning streak with his latest win in a match this past weekend in downtown Toledo.

“A lot of hard work, — discipline, sacrificing and you know just staying focused for a very long time that allows me to get where I’m at,” Bell said.

Prince said each of his titles is equally special to him.

And so are the young people filling up Central City Boxing at Savage Park, which has many looking to follow in his footsteps.

“Just want them to be the best in whatever they do, whether it’s in the gym or outside the gym, whatever,” Bell said. “I just want them to have some type of discipline in whatever they do and take it far.”

Prince runs a youth empowerment program where he trains and mentors the youth.

“Seeing is believing, they’re seeing me going out there, and having success, I’m having and they know they can do it too,” he said. “Especially when I’m back at 100% and teaching them what I know.”

Toledo’s Undefeated Champion said kids get a lot out of connecting with him and boxing.

“Boxing is just fun for kids, it’s something that gets them some discipline, something they can work hard towards,” Bell said. “Instead of sitting in the house playing video games all day. They can go out there, put the work in and get the results.”

If you would like your child to get involved, Prince said, reach out to him via Instagram @AlbertPrinceBell or stop by the boxing gym at Savage Park.

His message to the youth is simple.

“It doesn’t have to be boxing, but whatever you do have a work ethic for it, stay focused and you’ll do something,” he said.
