There was a large police presence and reportedly arrests in Richmound, Sask. on Wednesday morning, at the site where the self-proclaimed “Queen of Canada” and her followers have been staying.
The RCMP confirmed to 980 CJME that there was a police presence there, but said there was no risk to public safety. The police force would only say it was related to an ongoing investigation.

Mayor Brad Miller confirmed there were police in the town, and said there had been a number of arrests at the school, but declined to comment further.
The RCMP is expected to give more information later on Wednesday.
