Morehead, Ky.— The Miami University soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision against Morehead State during a Thursday non-conference game in the bluegrass state. The RedHawks move to 3-3-0 with the result in their last out-of-conference game of the season. Morehead State is now 2-4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Morehead State opened and closed the scoring in the ninth minute from the right foot of Kennedy Baquero to make it 1-0, assisted by Jade Walton and Hannah Burke.
The RedHawks best chance came on a shot from the right side of the box from Ava Boyd that hit the inside of the left post but did not go in.                 Â
NOTES
Despite the deficit at half, the RedHawks outshot the Eagles 6-1 and produced five corner kicks to the Eagles one.
Katie O’Malley led the team in shots with five and Shae Taylor recording the second most with three.
Dominique Popa only allowed one goal, lowering her goals-against average to 1.16.
