Aimee Neff, the Bobby Galloway Women’s Golf Head Coach, is in her fifth season directing the program. The Tar Heels return five starters and seven of the nine players on the roster, including all five in the lineup at the Folds of Honor.

Leading the way are seniors Megan Streicher (Cape Town, South Africa) and Inez Ng (Singapore).

Streicher is a two-time All-ACC honoree and Carolina’s all-time single-round, single-season and career scoring average leader.

Ng, won the Cavalier Regional Preview last year at Virginia with a 12-under 204 finish that equaled UNC’s all-time 54-hole record.

Streicher and Ng will represent their respective countries in early October in Singapore in the 2025 World Amateur Team Championship.

Junior Ing Iapluem (Surat, Thani, Thailand) and sophomores Marie Prats-Rigual (Perpignan, France) and Helen Yeung (Clarksville, Md.) join Streicher and Ng in the lineup this week.

Iadpluem was Carolina’s best finisher in four of the last five tournaments in the spring, which included two runners-up and a fourth place. Her 72.60 scoring average was second to Streicher’s 72.10 and was the fourth-lowest in UNC history.

Yeung led UNC with a T14 in the 2025 NCAA Norman Regional, and she set UNC’s freshman scoring record at 73.20.

Carolina will host three tournaments this season at Finley Golf Club – the annual Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational on October 17-19, the one-day North Carolina Challenge Cup on April 4 and an NCAA regional on May 11-13.
