A former Vancouver Canucks captain and fan favorite has announced some life-changing news just weeks before he’s set to begin his 13th training camp in the NHL.
Just like the Canucks, Horvat’s New York Islanders missed out on the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, but got some luck this summer by winning the draft lottery and selecting defenseman Matthew Schaefer with the first overall pick.
As the Islanders get set to drop the puck on training camp in less than two weeks, Bo Horvat has a lot to celebrate, something that’ll definitely motivate him heading into the new year.
