Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health is urging the creation of a national immunization registry.
Dr. Kieran Moore says the current patchwork of provincial schedules and systems leaves coverage gaps and makes it harder to respond to outbreaks.
He noted Ontario lags behind other provinces with digital vaccine tracking.
The call comes as measles resurges and childhood vaccination rates fall amid rising hesitancy.
