The Toronto International Film Festival is a little more than halfway over, but it’s still delivering nonstop celebrity sightings. On Tuesday, numerous stars walked on red carpets for movie premieres, including Amanda Seyfried for her movie, The Testament of Ann Lee.
The actress attended the North American premiere of the film at the TIFF Lightbox wearing a black tea-length off-the-shoulder dress. The piece evoked a vintage feel, featuring numerous floral embellishments around its neckline. The Mamma Mia! star also accessorized with jewelry from Tiffany & Co., including a choker necklace from the Bird on a Rock line, diamond stud earrings and a Victoria ring.
Seyfried stars in the new movie — directed by Mona Fastvold and co-written by Fastvold and Brady Corbet, who directed The Brutalist — as Ann Lee. She was one of the most important religious figures in pre-Revolutionary America as the founder of the Shakers movement, and the film looks at her life and beliefs.

Seyfried walked the red carpet on Sept. 9 alongside crew members and other stars from the film, including Lewis Pullman, who plays her brother in the film. Pullman wore a light brown suit to the event, along with a white shirt, black tie and black boots.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the prestigious film festival that’s become known as the unofficial start of awards season. Films that have premiered at TIFF, like American Beauty (1999), Silver Linings Playbook (2012) and Nomadland (2020) have gone on to win awards at the Oscars, including prestigious accolades like Best Picture and Best Actress.

In the film, Crowe stars as Hermann Goering, a leader of the Nazi party on trial for war crimes.
