In tonight’s episode of Anupamaa, the tension grows as the finale round of the competition gets closer. Inside the green room, both teams express their frustration with the decisions made by the organisers.
Anupama’s Message to the Teams
At this point, Anupama steps forward and addresses everyone with confidence. She explains that while the judges and media will do whatever they want, the participants have the power to protect their own self-respect. She reminds them that if the organisers want to create unnecessary drama, they cannot stop it, but they can at least prevent themselves from becoming part of the spectacle.
Anupama adds that if they avoid fighting among themselves, there will be no “content” left for others to show, and in this way, they can stop themselves from being made into a joke.
She further emphasises that being called dance queens is not only about wearing crowns but also about displaying dignity and grace. Turning to the rival team, she says that they represent Anuj’s dance academy, and the man whose name the academy carries has always managed to keep a smile even in the hardest of times.
Anupama Urges Teams to Focus on Performance Over Rivalry
Anupama also points out that the very purpose of reality shows is to provoke conflicts and play with contestants’ emotions. She reminds everyone that they themselves have often laughed when fights were shown on television, so there is no reason now to feel hurt or offended when the same thing happens to them.
Encouraging both groups, she urges them to concentrate on their performances instead of giving in to personal grudges. She reminds them to respect the golden opportunity given by God and not waste it in meaningless disputes. She adds that the time may come when they can settle scores with those who wronged them, but until then, they must not allow personal rivalries to take centre stage.
Rivalries Heat Up
Encouraged by her words, Anupama’s teammates rally behind her and push her to take the stage. On the other hand, Meeta motivates Rahi to prove her individuality and show that she is more than just Anupama’s reflection.
Pakhi stirs the fire further by telling Rahi to put Anupama in her place, while Mahi openly criticises Anupama, leaving Rahi fuming. Unable to ignore Rahi’s distress, Anupama follows her, despite Bharti’s concern that it might escalate the matter.
Gautam’s Conspiracy

Elsewhere, Gautam sets his sinister plan in motion by hiring a man to abduct Anupama. Unbeknownst to him, Paritosh secretly records the deal, intending to use it for his own selfish gains. While he pretends to bet on Anupama’s win, his only true interest lies in monetary benefits, not in the competition’s outcome.
Soon, Anupama falls victim to Gautam’s scheme and ends up locked inside the costume room. Realising she has been trapped, she desperately calls for help. Gautam, thrilled with his success, decides to side with Rahi as part of his revenge against Anupama.
Anupama Goes Missing
Meanwhile, Preet begins searching for Anupama, while Rahi returns to her green room. Devika is surprised to learn that Anupama and Rahi never crossed paths, leaving the dance queens worried about Anupama’s sudden disappearance. As Kunal announces the finale round, tension builds.
Noticing Gautam’s cheerful mood, Parag questions why he looks so pleased when he doesn’t care about either contestant. Gautam slyly responds that he struck a lucrative deal, which is why he is celebrating.
Meanwhile, trapped inside the locked room, Anupama panics, fearing her team will once again accuse her of abandoning them to let Rahi shine. She grows increasingly restless.
Doubts and Suspicions
Sarita wonders if Anupama left on purpose, while Preet recalls the earlier moment when Anupama froze upon seeing Rahi and feels it could be the same this time. However, Bharti firmly tells them not to think that way.
Prem learns about Anupama’s absence and wonders how it happened. Preet quickly suspects Pakhi and Mahi, but they both deny involvement. Pakhi even mocks the situation, suggesting Anupama must have run away, prompting Devika to sternly warn her to watch her words.
Determined to get to the bottom of it, Prem decides to review the CCTV footage. Rahi too grows anxious about Anupama’s whereabouts. Inside the locked room, Anupama struggles to free herself, but in the process, she slips off a chair and hurts herself.
Precap for the Next Episode
In the precap, Kunal makes a shocking announcement about Anupama, leading the audience to believe she has fled. Paritosh, however, claims she hasn’t vanished. Meanwhile, Anupama continues to battle for freedom inside the locked room. Kunal starts doubting Gautam’s hand in the matter and finally spots Anupama trapped inside.
