PULLMAN, Wash. – Collin Hodgkinson shot a 6-under 207 at the par-71 Palouse Collegiate to lead the Oregon State men’s golf team in its first event of the 2025-26 season.
 
The event, which wrapped Wednesday after 54 total holes over two days, saw the Beavers take a seventh-place finish in the 12-team event. As a team, the Beavers shot a 15-under 837, saving their best round for last on Wednesday with a 7-under 277. Both Hodgkinson and Rylan Johnson finished with matching 3-under 68 rounds on Wednesday.
 
For Hodgkinson, it was his second round at 3-under, equaling his first round. He also finished the second round at par, and finished tied for 15th to lead the team.
 
Sophomore Bradley Smolinski was close behind, posting a 5-under 208 at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club, a 7,302-yard course on the Washington State campus. He finished with the team’s best individual round, a 4-under 67 to end Tuesday’s action.
 
Smolinski finished tied for 21st.
 
A pair of Beavers competing in their first career events came next. Antoine Jasmin finished in a tie for 34th, shooting a 1-under 212. He posted a pair of 1-under 70s, in the first and third rounds of the event.
 
He was followed by Elleraas, posting a 3-over 216. His scoring improved over each of the three days, starting with a 73 in round one, 72 in round two and 71 over the final 18 holes. He tied for 50th.
 
Johnson and Stanley Lin both tied for 57th with a 5-over 218. Johnson’s 3-under 68 over the final 18 were the best of his event. Lin, meanwhile, finished with his best round in the second, tallying a 1-under 70.
