September 9, 2025 – Epstein Becker Green is pleased to announce that Jenny Yu has joined the firm’s distinguished Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice as a Member of the Firm in Los Angeles. She joins the firm from Lewis Brisbois.

Yu is an experienced employment litigator who focuses on wage and hour matters, class actions, and representative actions under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), as well as Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims. She also counsels employers on wage and hour compliance, leave laws, and workplace policies.

“Jenny brings a results-driven approach to complex employment litigation and compliance, particularly in California’s evolving wage and hour and PAGA landscape,” said David W. Garland, Chair of Epstein Becker Green’s Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice. “Her courtroom experience, coupled with practical counseling, strengthens our ability to guide employers through high-exposure disputes and day-to-day workforce challenges.”

“Jenny’s arrival deepens our bench in Los Angeles and across California,” said David Jacobs, Member of the Firm in Los Angeles. “Her track record defending class and representative actions is impressive and will deliver immediate value to clients in key industries.”

A courtroom veteran at the state and district court levels, Yu manages claims and matters from inception through trial in both jury and bench settings. She has represented startups, established companies, educational institutions, governmental entities, and nonprofits in matters spanning wage and hour, employment, and business litigation.

“I’m excited to join Epstein Becker Green’s strong national employment team, help clients proactively manage risk, and provide comprehensive defense and dispute resolution,” said Yu. “The legislature and courts continuously alter and add to the already complex California employment law, making compliance a challenge for even the most conscientious employers.  I look forward to utilizing the firm’s extensive platform and resources to scale my practice and deliver more value for clients in this difficult legal landscape.”

Yu earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her B.A. in Cognitive Science with an emphasis on Computational Modeling from the University of California, Berkeley. She is admitted to practice in California and New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.
