Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan will look to settle the score today in Belfast, this time with the IBF welterweight title on the line after Jaron “Boots” Ennis vacated to move up to 154 lbs.

Crocker won a tremendously controversial disqualification over Donovan on March 1 in Belfast, with Donovan clearly leading on the cards at the time the fight was called off by referee Marcus McDonnell. The venue is outdoors this time, so while another raucous crowd is expected, the sound shouldn’t overwhelm the combatants and the officials.

Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan 2 start time
Date: Saturday, September 13
Start time: 7 p.m. BST
Main event start time (approx.): 10:30 p.m. BST
Location: Windsor Park – Belfast, Northern Ireland,
The Crocker vs. Donovan 2 fight is in Windsor Park on September 13. The event starts at 7 p.m. BST. Crocker and Donovan should make their way to the ring around 10:30 p.m. BST, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Both faced off in March, with Crocker claiming a DQ win against Donovan. Donovan was warned several times for using his head and even had multiple points deducted. A right after the bell by Donovan forced the referee to wave the fight off in favor of Crocker.

The Ennis-born Donovan (14-1) looks to stay poised and is eager to secure his twelfth win via knockout against Crocker.

Against Crocker, it’s the fight that I want to get redemption for after what happened last time out,” Donovan told Matchroom Boxing via Pro Boxing Fans. “I know Crocker now. I know what he’s about. I know the way he can fight. It’s war, and it’s a fight that I want to win so badly.”

Meanwhile, a healthy Crocker (21-0), born in Belfast, is ready to prove he has what it takes to brush past Donovan’s offense and earn a measure of revenge.

“I’m not going to say I didn’t feel lucky because it did, I was losing the fight. But that’s why it was so important for me to want the rematch because that’s not the way the fight should have ended on my behalf, so I had to make it right,” Crocker said via The Ring.
