The Kelowna RCMP is asking the public for assistance in locating a suspect or suspects in a rash of break and enters into local golf course pro shops.

On June 5, 2025, a suspect broke into a pro shop at the Shannon Lake Golf Course in West Kelowna at approximately 12:55am and took several golf clubs, a golf bag and other items.

On June 16, 2025, Kelowna RCMP responded to a pro shop break and enter at the Gallagher’s Canyon Golf Club at approximately 1:23am.  The suspect gained access and stole multiple clubs, a golf bag and other golf related items.

Then on July 11, 2025, officers of the Kelowna RCMP responded to another pro shop break and enter, this time at The Okanagan Golf Club at approximately midnight. The suspect stole several clubs and putters along with other items.

All three break and enters are very similar in nature and in both incidents at the Kelowna golf courses, a suspect arrived and departed on an E-Bike.

“The offender appears to know exactly where they are going as they enter the pro shop, immediately heading to the area of the high-end golf clubs, taking the ones they want, and then quickly departing,” says Cpl. Guillaume Tanguay of the RCMP Proactive Enforcement Unit.  “All of the items this suspect takes are top of the line clubs including a significant number of Scotty Cameron putters.”

RCMP is asking the public if they have any information on these break and enters and have not yet spoken to police to please call the Kelowna Central Okanagan RCMP detachment at 250-762-3300 or you can leave an anonymous tip with the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
