QUINCY — The margins of victory were narrow for Quincy Notre Dame in their girls tennis match against Hannibal on Tuesday at Reservoir Park.

It took the Raiders four tiebreakers as they came away with a 5-4 win over the Pirates in the cross river racket showdown.

Hannibal’s top two players came through as Kasey DeStefane won over QND’s Anna Robb and Addison Sutton defeated QND’s Audrey Linenfelser in the No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches.

QND’s middle singles players picked up wins, as Brielle Robb defeated Hannibal’s Julia Lee and Jenna Tracy defeated Hannibal’s Sophia Herrin in the No. 3 and No. 4 singles matches.

Hannibal’s Natalie Nguyen defeated QND’s Lydia Brown in the No. 5 singles match.

QND’s Alex Terwelp defeated Hannibal’s Victoria Smith in the No. 6 singles match.

The Hannibal No. 1 doubles team of DeStefane and Herrin defeated the QND duo of Anna Robb and Linenfelser 8-4.

The QND No. 2 doubles team of Brielle Robb and Lydia Miller defeated Hannibal’s combination of Sutton and Smith 8-0.

The QND No. 3 doubles team of Brown and Tracy defeated the Hannibal duo of Lee and Nguyen 8-5.
