The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive lineman Kevin Orange Jr. to a future contract that begins in 2026 on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Kevin Orange Jr. is six foot four and weighs 240 pounds. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Orange Jr. went undrafted in 2025.

Collegiately, Orange Jr. began at Arkansas Baptist College in 2019 as a running back. In 2018, he had 41 carries for 223 yards and one rushing touchdown in eight games for the Buffaloes.

Next, he transferred to Kansas in 2021, switching to defensive end. He appeared in one game for the Jayhawks against West Virginia. Next, he transferred to Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2023 with 12 tackles (9 solos, 3 assists), three tackles for loss, and one force fumble in eight games for the Rangers.

Then, he transferred to Graceland University in 2024 with 41 tackles (26 solos, 15 assists), 16 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 11 games for the Yellow Jackets. He was named First Team All-Heart of America Conference, and he was invited to the FCS National Bowl in Daytona Beach, Florida.
