The NASCAR Euro Series is proud to announce the first official entry for the 2026 season: German driver Dominique Schaak will continue his journey with the German Bremotion team, piloting the #99 Chevrolet Camaro. This contract extension solidifies a successful partnership that has seen Schaak become a fixture in the NASCAR Euro Series OPEN championship.

Entering what will be his third full season in the series, Dominique Schaak has proven to be a formidable competitor and a dedicated team player. Since his debut guest start at his home race in Oschersleben in 2023, where he secured impressive 12th and sixth place finishes, Schaak has fully embraced the “Pure Racing” ethos of NASCAR in Europe.

His first full season in 2024 was marked by consistent growth, culminating in a 17th place finish in the overall standings and an impressive sixth place in the highly competitive Rookie Trophy, highlighted by two rookie podiums at Oschersleben.

The 2025 season has seen the German driver raise his performance to another level. Currently sitting ninth in the OPEN standings and fifth in the Master Trophy, Schaak has been a consistent class front-runner, securing two Master Trophy podium finishes in the first half of the season.

For Schaak, who is in his 26th year of motorsport, the decision to remain with Bremotion was a natural one, built on a foundation of mutual respect and friendship.

“I am delighted to be on the grid for Bremotion in the #99 again in 2026,” said Schaak. “I love the whole team and enjoy the time with them. I have a lot of respect for Patrick and I’m grateful for his trust. A great friendship has grown out of it. We have achieved a lot together and still have a lot planned for the future.”

“The team is growing in a healthy way and has a great attitude. I want to be part of that process, so it’s an honor for me to get behind the wheel of the #99. This will be my third NASCAR Euro Series season. I’ve driven so much in my 26 years in motorsport, but the atmosphere, the environment, and the racing in the NASCAR Euro Series is something very special for me.”

The sentiment is warmly reciprocated by Bremotion Team Principal, Patrick Brenndorfer, who sees Schaak as an integral part of the team’s family and future.

“We are very happy about the contract extension with Dominique,” stated Brenndörfer. “He is not only a loyal and reliable driver, but an essential part of our team – and a good friend! We at Bremotion will do everything we can to make his home race and his 250th race start an unforgettable experience. The stage is set, let the show begin!”

The announcement comes as Schaak is participating in his home race at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, a weekend that will not only be a celebration of his extended partnership with Bremotion but will also mark his landmark 250th career race start through various championships. With his future secured, Schaak is poised to continue his upward trajectory in the most exciting touring car series in Europe.
