Big Return On WWE SmackDown

WWE

There was a notable return during tonight’s September 19 episode of WWE SmackDown ahead of Wrestlepalooza tomorrow night.

Tomorrow’s PLE will open with Brock Lesnar vs John Cena, and Lesnar kicked off SmackDown tonight.

Immediately upon arrival, Lesnar came out into the arena and manhandled Michael Cole, who was set to interview him tonight.

Lesnar forcefully shoved Cole in the ring and looked about to do more damage, until Cole’s announce partner Corey Graves made the save.

However, Graves ended up taking two F5s from Lesnar for his troubles, which is newsworthy in itself as it confirms Graves is cleared for physicality.

The show went to commercials with Graves down and out in the ring and being checked on by Cole and producers/referees.

Cameras then went backstage and caught Lesnar meeting up with a certain someone he’s familiar with – Paul Heyman.

This marks Heyman’s return to WWE TV after being attacked by Roman Reigns at Clash In Paris on August 31.

Heyman was with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, who watched on as Lesnar told Heyman: “We should talk.”

Lesnar then left and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis walked in, questioning why Heyman, Reed and Breakker were on SmackDown.

Heyman said it was to peace things out with The Usos, but The Usos aren’t even at SmackDown, so Heyman claimed Reed and Breakker are just going to watch the show and won’t cause any problems.
