KAMLOOPS — The TRU Wolfpack soccer teams both picked up a big three points on Saturday (Sept 21) with wins over UNBC and MacEwan.
On home turf in Kamloops, the women won their third straight home game by walloping the UNBC Timberwolves 5-0. TRU getting goals from Esi Lufo, MacKenzie Lalonde, Alexis Virgo and Makenna Ford. Lufo’s brace gives her seven on the season, tying the program single-season record. Floor Ursem earned the clean-sheet her fourth shutout of the year, which ties the single-season record.
TRU is holds sole possession of second place in the Pacific Division. The Pack will be on the road next weekend for games versus Trinity Western and Fraser Valley.
Meanwhile, the men secured their first win of the season, 1-0 over the MacEwan Griffins.
