Jessica Sanchez is the winner of “America’s Got Talent” Season 20!
The winner was announced during the final stage of the talent competition held on September 25 (Philippine time).
During the finals night, the pregnant Filipina singer belted out a version of “Golden Hour” by JVKE, accompanied by a performance from aerial dancers Sirca Marea.
Jessica returned to the talent show in July, where she sang “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone and earned a golden buzzer from Sofia Vergara.
After receiving the golden buzzer, the soon-to-be mom advanced to the quarter finals, where she sang an emotional performance of Alex Warren’s “Ordinary.” Her powerful performance earned her a spot in the semifinals.
At the semi-finals round, she wowed the audience with her rendition of “Golden Hour” by JVKE, which earned praise from judges including Sofia.
Jessica marched to the finals due to public voting along with the other five finalists, where she got a standing ovation for her performance of Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga’s song “Die With A Smile.”
Jessica first went on “America’s Got Talent” at 10 and reached the semi-finals. She rose to fame as the runner-up in “American Idol” Season 11.
She recently released the single “Two Lines” about her pregnancy and won the competition on her ninth month of pregnancy.
