Canadian tennis star Felix Auger-Aliassime got married last weekend in a lavish ceremony in Morocco.

The 25-year-old Montreal native tied the knot with longtime partner Nina Ghaibi, a professional equestrian athlete, Saturday in Marrakesh, Morocco.

Auger-Aliassime and Ghaibi first started dating back in 2019 when Felix noticed her in the crowd after a Miami Open match. The Canadian struck up a conversation and the two have been a couple ever since.

“A love that never stopped growing from the moment we laid eyes on each other, and never will,” Auger-Aliassime said on Instagram. “September 20th, 2025, our dreams became reality.”

Fellow Canadian tennis players Dennis Shapovalov (who also got married recently) and Vicky Mboko commented on the post with their congratulations. Other notable figures, including influencer Paige Lorenze, German tennis legend Boris Becker, and Australian tennis player Alex De Minaur, also sent well wishes.

Auger-Aliassime wore a classic black and white tuxedo for the occasion while Nina donned a beautiful, flowing white dress. For the actual ceremony, Nina donned traditional Moroccan clothing.

Born in the United States, Nina represents Morocco in her equestrian competitions.

Auger-Aliassime has been riding high over the past month. On top of getting married, the Canadian is fresh off one of his best showings at a Grand Slam, making it all the way to the semi-final of the US Open. He eventually lost to the top-ranked Jannik Sinner, but it was the first time he made it past a Grand Slam quarterfinal since 2022.

As the happy couple celebrates their marriage, the hope is that Auger-Aliassime can reach new heights in his tennis career.
