Toronto police are investigating after a 19-year-old was stabbed in North York Thursday night.
In a post on social media, Toronto police said officers responded to a stabbing in the Finch Avenue West and Weston Road area just after 7 p.m.
They said a 19-year-old male had been stabbed and was being taken to the hospital.
Paramedics initially told to CP24 that they transferred one person to the hospital in critical condition.
An update from police said the man’s injuries were later determined to be non-life-threatening.
Police have not provided further details about where the victim’s stab wounds were located or any details about a possible suspect.
