Brittany Cartwright took on the challenge of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test but didn’t get far in the competition, quitting midday on the first day.

Despite the Vanderpump Rules alum wanting to prove haters, like her ex, wrong, she gave in early on.

Cartwright was part of Team Bravo and, at the beginning of the premiere episode, explained why she wanted to be part of the show.

“I wanted to do Special Forces selection because I had been through so much this year. I finally found the strength to leave a very toxic relationship,” Cartwright said. “I had my ex writing me being like, ‘You’re not going to make it far,’ right before I even came here. People like that, I want to prove wrong.”

Right off the bat, Cartwright said she was “anxious as hail” and during the bus ride to a location told co-star Mark Estes: “I’m scared they’re going to get mad because I giggle all the time. They’re going to hate me.”

To Cartwright’s credit, she faced one of her fears during the first challenge of the series, which was to jump out of a helicopter. Although Cartwright failed to drop in form, she did jump out of the aircraft despite her fear of heights.

However, soon after that first task, Cartwright found herself struggling through the rest of the day, walking through the heat of Morocco and carrying heavy items.

“You’re getting further and further behind,” one of the coaches told Cartwright. “You are going home before the course even starts.”

Cartwright is heard saying: “I can’t. I don’t think I can make it.”

In the confessional, Cartwright adds, “I’m not the fittest I’ve ever been in my life right now, that’s for sure.”

Cartwright tried to push through the challenge, and about 500 yards into the run to reach the stop point, The Valley star and Bravo personality had had enough.

“I feel like I’m going to pass out. I’m sorry,” an agitated and exhausted Cartwright said. “I don’t want to be the first to go bu t… I’m just, I can’t move.”

When asked to make a decision, Cartwright said: “I can’t. I’m going to throw up. I’m really sorry.”

Cartwright effectively quit the challenge halfway through the first day.

“I knew I was going to be first,” she said as she waited for someone to pick her up. “So embarrassing.”

Cartwright is not the only Bravo personality on the show, and she was joined by The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille and Next Gen NYC star Gia Giudice. Other personalities on the show include Jussie Smollett, Chanel Iman, Jessie James Decker and Sister Wives‘ Kody Brown, among others.
