Wanderlei Silva, the Brazilian destroyer nicknamed ‘The Axe Murderer,’ proved this harsh reality when he stepped back into combat after seven long years away. The 48 year old fighter had built his reputation on pure violence and intimidation during his prime years in PRIDE Fighting Championships and the UFC.
