DraftKings Queen of the Court Picks for Tuesday, July 22
Here are tonight’s matchups:
Los Angeles Sparks @ Washington Mystics — 7:30 PM EST
Indiana Fever @ New York Liberty — 8:00 PM EST
Chicago Sky @ Minnesota Lynx — 8:00 PM EST
Atlanta Dream @ Las Vegas Aces — 10:00 PM EST
Dallas Wings @ Seattle Storm — 10:00 PM EST
Remember, a Queen of the Court bet must be on a player prop market for that night. Let’s find some Queens!
Nneka Ogwumike Over 16.5 Points (-115)
Oh, the talent that you are. At 35, Nneka Ogwumike just moved into 6th on the WNBA’s all-time scoring list, dropping 22 points in the Storm’s gritty, low-scoring win over the Valkyries last Wednesday. She’s been steady all season, averaging 17.1 PPG and 7.7 RPG, but with a favorable matchup against the Wings on deck, she’s primed for a big night. Dallas ranks near the bottom defensively — giving up 86.8 points per game (11th), 34 rebounds per game, and letting teams shoot 45.3% from the field (12th). There’s a reason Ogwumike owns 10 All-Star selections: consistency, yes — but also pure clutch. In Seattle’s recent win over Golden State, she put up 11 of her 22 points in the fourth quarter alone, proving once again that age is just a number when you’ve got that kind of closeout ability.
A’ja Wilson Over 9.5 Rebounds (-120)
This is such low-hanging fruit — but how can I not go with the reigning MVP after the run she’s been on? After suffering a wrist injury in early July that benched her for just one game, A’ja Wilson came back not just in form, but in full Superwoman mode. The 28-year-old dropped 34 and 37 points in her last two regular-season games, adding 26 boards and six assists across both wins. While she lit up Dallas for 37 — a team that ranks 11th in defensive rating (107.7) — she’ll face a Dream team (not that Dream Team) that plays at a slower pace and rarely turns the ball over. Still, Wilson has put the Aces on her back lately, and I’m betting on her to do it again and keep the win streak alive. Another 30-point performance, anyone?
Allisha Gray Over 18.5 Points (+100)
The first-time All-Star has really started to flourish under head coach Karl Smesko — especially with her comfortability from beyond the arc. Early in her career, Gray was shooting around 28% from deep, averaging just 3.4 three-point attempts per game. She’s blown those numbers out of the water this season. The South Carolina alum is now hitting 38.1% from three, while averaging career-highs in points (18.4) and rebounds (5.5). Nearly half of her shots (46%) are coming from deep — and if they start falling like rain tonight, Gray has a very real shot at walking away with the crown.
Here’s my official pick for Tuesday’s Queen of the Court promo on DraftKings Sportsbook:
