Married couple Angie and Joey Mead King might just be the luckiest Formula 1 fangirls around!
On Threads, Angie shared their unexpected encounter with Mercedes rookie driver Kimi Antonelli on their latest flight, and took the chance to take a photo with him.
“Kimi Antonelli is on our flight,” Angie said in the caption, followed by an airplane emoji.
Kimi is among the youngest F1 drivers in history, joining the Australian Grand Prix last March at the ripe old age of 18. In May, he became the youngest pole sitter in F1 history. He turned a year older last August 25.
This isn’t their first brush with F1 stars. Just last month, Angie and Joey attended the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, where they scored a close encounter with Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.
Angie herself is an accomplished race car driver. Last year, her luxury sports car Acura NSX caught fire in SLEX, after she exited Biñan.
Angie and Joey have been married since 2011. Five years later, Angie publicly came out as transgender.
