EXCLUSIVE: With his series Stranger Things coming to end later this year, David Harbour is setting up his future slate as sources tell Deadline that the Emmy-nominated actor is in negotiations to join Pedro Pascal in the Searchlight pic Behemoth! from Tony Gilroy. Searchlight recently came aboard the project, which Gilroy will write and direct.

Plot details are vague at this time, but Gilroy has said in interviews that the film revolves around a cellist. Gilroy would also produce with Sanne Wohlenberg. The film is set to begin principal photography this fall in Los Angeles, with release plans to be announced at a later date.

Harbour is set to bring a close to his Jim Hopper character, which has earned him a pair of Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nom, as the final season Stranger Things bows later this year. He recently wrapped production on the HBO limited series DTF St. Louis. Next up, he has the sequel to the Universal action pic Violent Night.

The Tony nominee was was also recently seen in the Marvel pic Thunderbolts*, which bowed in May. He is repped by WME and Sloan Offer Weber.
