Norrie will aim to be proactive and aggressive on serve against the clinical and consistent returning of Cazaux.
Playing styles and prediction
There have been some decent wins for Cazaux this season as he has climbed into the world’s top 100 with some aggressive tennis. However, the 23 year-old will now aim to improve his consistency as the Frenchman looks to score a massive win at the end of his season.
Norrie will aim to be aggressive and proactive on serve, using the backhand to dictate play from inside the baseline. Meanwhile, Cazaux will aim to be smart on serve and use his forehand to gain control of the longer rallies. This should be a competitive contest given Norrie’s lack of form right now but the Brit will rise to the occasion in the big points to score his first win in this Asian swing.
Prediction: Norrie in three sets.
