Correction to road cycling championship story published Sept. 27

In a story published Sept. 27 on Canadian Magdeleine Vallieres’ win in the women’s elite road race at the 2025 UCI Road World Championships, The Canadian Press erroneously reported that Vallieres was competing for the EF Education-Oatly team and was the first Canadian woman to win a road race world title. In fact, she was competing for Canada and is the first Canadian of any gender to win a road race world title.
