Alex Pereira successfully reclaimed the UFC light heavyweight title against Magomed Ankalaev in their rematch with a first-round TKO finish last Oct. 4 in the main event of UFC 320 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Pereira immediately closed the distance and landed a solid right-hand punch that rocked the defending champion. Then, it was the beginning of the end as “Poatan” put him down and rained down the heavy elbow strikes until the referee called a stoppage in his favor.
This latest triumph not only allowed Pereira to recapture the coveted belt but also his status as an instant favorite at BetMGM’s sportsbook whenever his UFC odds are available.
