Allow the baking soda mixture to rest on the oven glass for five minutes.

Marko explained, “After five minutes, you should be able to remove most of the grime with a quick and easy scrub with the sponge.”

Nevertheless, if any persistent spots remain, apply additional baking soda since it “acts like a mild abrasive to remove the grease”.

The final step is simply to wipe down the oven door, and it will “look brand new”. Baking soda is a natural, gentle abrasive that softly scrubs away stains, grease, and grime accumulated on the oven door.

It also soaks up stains as the powder transitions from bright white to a brown mess during the cleaning process. This is the baking soda extracting those brown stains from the glass oven door.

While employing baking soda requires a bit more time and effort compared to using an oven cleaner, it definitely gets the job done, and without any harmful chemicals.
