A PC candidate in Baie Verte – Green Bay asserts that he has done no wrong and says allegations made by a man he describes as his estranged brother are false.
A recent social media post alleged that Lin Paddock had “solicited and paid people to contribute to his campaign” during a by-election run in 2024.
Paddock, a former accountant, called the post “completely erroneous,” stating that he is not currently under investigation by the police or Elections NL.
“I am not under any investigation,” Paddock told VOCM News.
“My campaign the last time, by election, was fully audited and returned to Elections Newfoundland and Labrador. These allegations are coming from my estranged brother, who last year willingly worked my campaign and now is out to find some means to discredit me”
